The Gluaiseacht archival project aims to make Irish eco-social web content available online for free for the general public from various original sources which for different reasons, can no longer keep their websites active
It began in 2021 when we were asked to help host 2 websites sustainability.ie magazine and fruitandnut.ie, originally run by Andi Wilson who passed away suddenly in December 2020. Gluaiseacht agreed to move and pay for hosting of the website and keep these valuable resources online by paying for the hosting. This project now hosts a number of websites.
This project plans to expand over the coming years, searching for more valuable materials, and make its work more known by promoting the archival material available via social media and other online communications with our members and networks.
